Welcome to Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology & Management (BBDITM), Lucknow, a futuristic institution that stands for academic excellence, innovation, and inclusive growth. Continuing the great tradition of Babu Banarasi Das Ji, our mission is not just to educate but to empower and elevate. We at BBDITM are deeply dedicated to shaping students into future-ready professionals, creative thinkers, and responsible leaders. Our system of academics rests upon the foundations of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), guided by the universally adopted Bloom’s Taxonomy, so that every learner passes through knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.

Innovation in this age of rapid change is the recipe for success. We actively embrace emerging tech, industry-approved tools, and experiential learning platforms within disciplines. Laboratories, centres of excellence, and live projects inculcate problem-solving mind-set, creativity, and design thinking. We compel our students to look beyond books, to prototype, to innovate, and to disrupt. From coding hackathon to robotics sprint and fintech sandbox, innovation at BBDITM is alive and pragmatic.

Our Placement Cell stands not just as a window to jobs, but a career discovery and progression facilitator too. We are pleased to be ranked as a TCS Priority Campus, and through it, our students benefit from special placement offerings and exposure to top-level Tata Consultancy Services roles. Through a special team, we have strong relationships with premier corporates, start-ups, and international recruiting firms. Through domain-specific training, mock interviews, aptitude testing, resume preparation, and alumni mentoring, we ensure our students are placed and placed with dedication and intention. Our collaborations with industry bigwigs like Infosys, Wipro, and HCL work in tandem with our placement process to further enrich it. We are also Infosys Campus Connect 2.0 affiliate, offering our faculty and students future-capable and industry-driven skills. The newly established MoU with HCL cements our focus towards industry-integrated learning, internships, and work-ready skill enhancement.

We aim to develop creators of jobs, not just users of jobs. We promote innovation and entrepreneurial activity through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of BBDITM. Through ideation workshops, innovation challenge programs, mentoring, and exposure to startups, the IIC is the perfect platform for emerging innovators. We provide idea validation, incubation of projects, and networking with startup enablers and government initiatives like Startup India and MSME.

The mentor-mentee process aligned with NEP 2020 ensures customized scholarship help, mental health and career counseling. Several of our programs have already met the rigorous benchmarks set by NBA, reflecting our ongoing alignment with national and international standards in technical education. We don’t just train our students to get their first job, we train them to get their entire career span, with lifelong learning potential, with moral values, and with a mind-set to keep growing in life.
