Activity-1-Faculty Development Programme On “Advance Acceptable Technology Used In Civil Engineering”

A Faculty Development Programme provides financial assistance to facilitate up-gradation of knowledge, skill and to provide opportunities for induction training to teachers employed in different field of engineering. This FDP on “ADVANCE ACCEPTABLE TECHNOLOGY USED IN CIVIL ENGINEERING” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, BBDNITM. The event was open for all faculties of any branch with ‘No Registration Fee’ and an ‘e-certificate’ had been awarded to each participant.

Activity-2-“Poster and PPT Competition”

Under the guidance of Dr.Bhavesh Kumar Chauhan, Director of BabuBanarasiDas Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow, The Civil Department had undertaken the task of organising the Online Technical Poster PPT Competition under the theme of Covid-19 – Infrastructural Innovations to fight against Corona Pandemic during this lockdown period, which is an Online Technical Poster & PPT Competition. The theme of this competition is: Covid 19 – Infrastructural Innovations to fight against Corona Pandemic. The prizes given a s follows:

• First Prize:  1100/-
• Second Prize:  5 51/-
• Third Prize:  351/-

Activity-3-“Webinar:’On Project Management'”

A webinar entitles “Construction Project Management Using Primavera” has been organised by Department of Civil Engineering, BBDNITM, with the association of “The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI)” on 13th May, 2020. The Speaker was Business Manager Ms. Ranjeeta Jain from CADD C entre, Lucknow, who has a vast knowledge of 15+ years.

Activity-4-Webinar:’Safe and Sustainable Aquifers: Role for Space Technology’

In view of channelizing continuous dissemination of knowledge and Outcome based learning using Innovative technical tools, our department has planned for another technicalwebinar dated on 17/5/2020 at 11:00 AM (Sunday). The webinar will be delivered by Dr. C. K. Singh, Department of Energy and Environment, TERI University on Topic entitled: ‘Safe and Sustainable Aquifers: Role for Space Technology’. The event will be open forall Students of all year of any branch/ faculties/researchers/Academicians with ‘No Registration Fee’ and an ‘e-certificate’ will be provided to each participant.

Activity-5-“Webinar On Land And Road Development Using Civil 3D”

Civil engineering department, BabuBanarasiDas Institute of Technology and Management Lucknow organized Webinar on “LAND & ROAD DEVELOPMENT” on 19th May 2020(Tuesday). E r. Hemant Singh worked as a resource person during the webinar. The webinar had many participations including students o f B.Tech B BDNITM, BBDNIIT, BBDU, BBDNIEC and other colleges a s well as faculty members.
