Reflecting on a Successful ICAETC-2023

As we wrap up the International Conference on Advances in Emerging Trends in Computer Applications (ICAETC-2023), we are filled with gratitude for the moments of learning and innovation shared.

Conference started with welcome speech delivered by Prof. (Dr) Manuj Darbari R & D Head BBDITM, Lucknow. Dr. S. S. Chauhan, Director, addressed the gathering stating that we are living in exciting time in which the world has become more connected than ever before. While networking technologies have evolved at an impressive pace over the last decade, it is the IT industry which has made the real changes: the social networks, the mobile services, and the move to cloud based architectures, which introduced new needs and wants, and drove the high-tech industry to new heights. He said that the main aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, scientists, industry leaders, and managers from almost every corner of the country and abroad to share ideas to stimulate discussions in the area of software and computer applications. Dr. Anurag Tiwari, Head, Dept. of CSE and Convenor, ICAETC-2023 has presented the theme of the conference.

  • Celestine Iwendi, PhD (University of Bolton, UK): Dr. Iwendi addressed the pressing issue of security in the Internet of Things (IoT) by discussing “Attack Prevention Using Machine Learning of IoT.” His insights into leveraging machine learning for IoT security shed light on a critical concern in the technology landscape.
  • Victor Lopez-Cabrera (Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, USA): Mr. Lopez-Cabrera’s keynote, “Emergent Technology Applied in AI/ML for Latin America,” provided valuable perspectives on the application of emerging technologies in the Latin American context, emphasizing the potential for growth and development.
  • Dr. Sandeep Shukla (IIT Kanpur): Dr. Shukla’s presentation on “Cyber Crime and Cyber Fraud” delved into the ever-increasing challenges posed by cybercrime and fraud, offering insights into cybersecurity strategies and countermeasures.
  • Dr. Meenu Khurana (Chitkara University): Dr. Khurana explored the transformative impact of 5G on data-driven applications in her keynote, “5G Impacting the Data Driven Applications.” This presentation highlighted the profound changes that 5G technology is bringing to the realm of data analytics.
  • Dr. Surya Prasath (University of Cincinnati, USA): Dr. Prasath’s presentation, “Sparks of an AI Lab – Bio + Medical Imaging to Computational Biology,” showcased the remarkable strides made in the intersection of AI, medical imaging, and computational biology, promising breakthroughs in healthcare.
  • Prashant R. Nair (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University): Mr. Nair’s contribution centered on innovative research approaches, fostering a culture of creativity and exploration in computer applications.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the 46 session chairs and 92 reviewers for their dedication to reviewing 240 papers, leading to the presentation of 136 papers. Your commitment has been the cornerstone of the conference’s success.
