Welcome to the Seventh Edition of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, hosted at Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology & Management (BBDITM). This year, SIH 2024 presents a diverse array of 202 problem statements from 20 Central Ministries5 State Governments3 Public Sector Undertakings, and 3 Private Organizations. This robust participation showcases the power of open innovation and the collaborative spirit required to solve the nation’s critical challenges.

The Smart India Hackathon, an initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE, has earned its reputation as the world’s largest open innovation platform. Since its inception in 2017, SIH has been a catalyst for fostering creative problem-solving and practical solutions among students, establishing itself as a leader in innovation and entrepreneurship on a global scale.

* Students can form a team with students of different years, and different branches, as per requirements of the project and expertise area.
* This is a golden opportunity for students to work on live projects, and also win prizes worth One Lack for every problem statement, and also got industry recognition. Final year students can also convert this for their Final Year Project.
