The Social Club at BBDITM, one of the oldest and most reputed student clubs in the college, proudly upholds its motto “A Step Towards Change”. Known for its diverse range of cultural, social, and technical activities, the club has continuously served as a platform for students to engage in meaningful community service, develop leadership skills, and participate in initiatives that foster social awareness and personal growth. The club’s mission is to create a lasting positive impact on society by actively engaging in activities like promoting environmental sustainability, and enhance student well-being. The club provides students with valuable opportunities to contribute to social causes while building essential life skills.
The core objectives of the Social Club include:
- Encouraging students to participate in social service and contribute to community development.
- Organizing outreach programs and events that raise awareness about critical social issues.
- Offering a platform for students to enhance leadership, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
- Conducting cultural and technical activities that enrich the learning experience and holistic development of members.
Students can join the Social Club by filling out the club membership form, which must be approved by the General Secretary of the club. Membership offers opportunities to participate in meaningful initiatives, take on leadership roles, and collaborate with like-minded individuals. However, once a student joins the club, they cannot join another club.
Additionally, all members must adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the club to ensure smooth functioning and maintain the club’s integrity.
